A MASSIVE thank you to Eamonn Christie who organised the Belfast Irish Milers meet in June and raised £500 for BART! It wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the West Belfast Coolers…thanks so much ladies for all the baking and the help on the day!  Big thanks also to the Beechmount Harriers for baking and helping with the sweets. Here’s Eamonn handing over the cheque to BART Trustee Mr Dennis Molloy along with Tracy from the Coolers and Leeann, BART’s research nurse. BART is a charity close to Eamonn’s heart as he had his knee replaced at Musgrave Park Hospital in March this year, he’s delighted to say it’s given him a new lease of life and he’s been able to return to his normal activities! #fundraisingfriday

The Arthritis Foundation have stated that every one pound of excess weight adds four pounds of extra pressure on your knees.
